Bally Mortuary Systems give funeral home directors more flexibility to meet the scheduling requirements of the bereaved. They are cost-effective to have in any funeral home: if the body can be stored under refrigeration, embalming may not be required in certain circumstances. Bally's research among funeral home directors revealed that requests for private grave side funerals (those without public viewings) are on the rise. And the desire among consumers to lower funeral costs is resulting in a significantly higher demand for cremation. In either case, a Bally Mortuary Cooler allows greater flexibility for both the bereaved and the funeral home.
Construction
The exterior and interior walls and ceiling are constructed from stucco aluminum. Cooler is insulated with 4" (102mm) of foamed-in-place Bally special formulated polyurethane insulation. Density is 2.3 pounds per square foot. UL listed and Factory Mutual Class 1.
Coolers are equipped with brushed satin aluminum edge mount hinges and latches, and replaceable extruded vinyl.
Refrigeration System
Each Bally mortuary refrigerator is equipped with a "performance rated," air cooled, hermetically sealed, capillary-type refrigeration system. Electrical is 115/1/60.
Thermometers are built-in, flush mounted 2" (51mm) Dial Type. Temperature range is -60°F to 80°F (-50°C to 30°C).
Racks
These mortuary coolers feature three piece telescopic racks and trays. They are self-supporting and made of extruded aluminum with nylon rollers, rack and a removable type, 18 gauge 304 welded stainless steel with a No.4 finish tray.
